A Sheboygan, Wisconsin teen is charged with allegedly wielding a knife after his mother took away his "Brokeback Mountain" DVD, which she deemed "inappropriate."
The critically-acclaimed movie, which is the story of a same-sex relationship between two cowboys, was the reason for the argument according to the criminal complaint against the 18-year-old man.
Nicholas A. Post is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to the Sheboygan Press, after he reportedly began screaming and running after his mother in an attempt to retrieve the DVDs. The charge carries a maximum punishment of nine months in jail.
He surrendered the knife before police arrived and no one was hurt. Police reportedly found the young man on the front lawn crying. He said he didn't intend to hurt anyone with the knife.
