HBHC Sponsors Youth Pride Zone

Enjoy Pride In A Fun And Safe Environment

Chicago, IL - Howard Brown Health Center’s Youth Services department will sponsor the 5th Annual Youth Pride Zone at the 2004 Pride Parade.

The Zone provides people under the age of 24 with a fun, safe, and informed spot to watch the parade with people their own age. Water, sunscreen, safer sex supplies, candy, and other goodies will be available for anyone in the Zone. Last year, over 800 young people stopped by the Pride Zone.



The Youth Pride Zone will be held in front of the Brown Elephant Resale Store’s Lakeview location, at 3651 N. Halsted from 11:00 to 3:00pm. The parade kicks off at noon.
