Sun. May 8, 2011

Hollywood - Magnolia Pictures has picked up the lesbian-werewolf romance movie "Jack and Diane" and is planning on distributing it this year.

The movie stars Juno Temple ("Atonement," "Notes on a Scandal," and Riley Keough ("The Runaways"), daughter of Lisa Marie Presley. Kylie Minogue will play a "heavily tattooed lesbian."

There isn't much known about the movie, except for this basic plot synopsis posted on IMDB.com:

"Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane must struggle to keep their love alive while hiding the secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is giving her werewolf-like visions."

The movie will also include some animated sequences and is expected to be released this year.
