Toronto, Canada -
Teenagers in Toronto are taking the wrong message from the hit television show "Glee," and targeting gays and lesbians on the street -- with Slurpees.
Several people in the "Gay Village" neighborhood have been hit by slushies or Slurpees in the past few weeks.
The attackers often lean out of cars and throw the frozen drinks as they drive by.
The attacks are reminiscent of a scene in which "Kurt Hummel" (Chris Colfer) is doused with a Slurpee in a high school hallway on Glee.
Police have increased patrols in the neighborhood and the principal at the local school is also trying to help.
No one has been seriously hurt, but the Toronto Sun reports that folks are concerned the anti-gay attacks will escalate.
