The Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade returned for its 25th year on Oct. 31 featuring thousands of attendees, fabulous costumes, and of course, the annual costume contest.
The parade started at 7:30 p.m. with grand marshals CircuitMOM and CircuitSON riding atop The GoodBus. The Windy City Jeep Club ushered revelers down N. Halsted with entertainment by Lakeside Pride, Chicago Spirit Brigade, and Chicago Full Moon Jam providing the pyrotechnics.
Matthew Rodrigues from “Chicago Today” and Batty Davis hosted the evening, which included a costume contest with a total of $4,000 up for grabs in five different categories. Plus musical performance by Molly & Alex, and DJ Brady Prince.
The annual parade is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance, the same group behind Chicago Pride Fest and Northalsted Market Days.
