Chicago Pride Fest 2021, Friday, October 1 through Sunday, October 3 along N. Halsted St. in Lakeview

Recording artists Nicole and Natalie Albino, better known as Nina Sky, bring their unique sound - a fusion of hip hop, R&B, pop and reggae - to the Chicago Pride Fest stage on Sunday October 3.

In 2004, the identical twin's infectious debut song, “Move Ya Body” and follow-up tracks “Turning Me On,” and “Oye Mi Canto,” not only became club anthems, but propelled the group to Billboard chart success and collaborations with Grammy Award-winning artists and producers including Bruno Mars, Diplo, Major Lazer, Rick Ross, Betty Wright, Aventura, Sean Paul, and Salaam Remi.

“We've been performing around the world endlessly since we were teenagers,” said Natalie. “It has not only opened our eyes culturally but has inspired our music over the years. Nicole and I have grown tremendously since our first album and are excited to share our new tunes.“

Today, the twins have their own families while remaining part of the music industry through a series of remixes and tracks.

“It's an amazing feeling for us to still live out our dreams while staying true to who we are as artists,” said Nicole. “We're truly blessed to not only do what we love, but to have a supportive fan base that have shown us love throughout the years no matter what.”

Nina Sky performs the North Stage at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3.

The 20th annual Chicago Pride Fest, which is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance, runs Friday, October 1 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on N. Halsted St. from Addison to Grace.

A $15 suggested donation is recommended. Donations support local nonprofits and fund community projects like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks.
