Hollywood -
On "The View" on Tuesday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck jumped right into a discussion about why older women come out as lesbians.
The discussion was focused on women who had lived straight lives until middle age.
"You know what's happening? It's that older men are going for younger women and leaving the older women with no one," she said.
Hasselbeck went on to say that she believes that women who come out later in life are lonely and find that women understand them better anyway.
"That is ridiculous, I am sorry," said Joy Behar. "Being gay is not just holding hands and walking through the tulips."
Whoopi Goldberg took the opportunity to tell the others that women were better in bed together because someone of the same sex understands your body.
