A 29-year-old man Canadian man has been charged with attempted murder for failing to disclose his HIV-positive status.
According to the Ottawa Citizen, Steven Paul Boone, is charged with four counts of attempted murder. He has also been charged with four counts of administering a noxious substance - HIV - the four men.
The Ottawa police say Boone had sex with several partners he found online and "knowingly failed to disclosed details to the victim regarding his infectious medical condition."
Police released a photo of Boone to warn his sexual partners to seek medial help. At the time, police did not disclose the nature of the disease he was accused of spreading.
Boone was arrested in early May after an 18-year-old Ottawa man contracted HIV after unprotected sex several times in January.
