Jim Ludwig, who celebrates his 60th birthday, was surrounded by family, close friends and business associates at the place of his founding, Roscoe's Tavern & Cafe, Thursday evening.
Chicago's 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney presented Ludwig with a Mayoral Proclamation by Richard M. Daley sounding the contributions he has made to the community in his over 23 years of business ownership in the Lakeview neighborhood and throughout Chicago.
Ludwig and Roscoe's Tavern, which celebrated its 23rd anniversary this month, have been an anchor for the city's Boystown area.
