Lt. Dan Choi in court Monday

Mon. April 26, 2010

Chicago, IL - Lt. Dan Choi will be back in court Monday to face charges after he and five other members of the military were arrested at the White House.

This is the second time the 29-year-old Army lieutenant has been arrested for protesting "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." He handcuffed himself to the White House fence and is charged with failure to obey an officer.

The protesters are all members of GetEqual. They released a video addressed to President Obama.

"Just put your money where your mouth is," said Cpl. Evelyn Thomas, who was also arrested at the White House with Choi. "If you're going to say that you're going to do something, do it. Because anything else is just a lie."
