Chicago, IL -
For friends of Bailiwick Repertory Theater, or for those wanting to get involved, there is a strange and fun event coming up right around the corner from the Bailiwick Arts Center.
HOT MOSCOW NIGHTS will be a fundraising, glass-raising event to toast the successful 2003 season, and to look ahead to the next. After making waves with its hit musical DR. SEX, and just before it sets sail on THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER, Bailiwick wants to let loose for one night, gather old friends and make new ones. Free beer and food will be provided, as will raffle prizes and surprises of all sorts at the fun and cozy Will’s Northwoods Inn – just two blocks away at 3032 Racine.
At HOT MOSCOW NIGHTS, Bailiwick will:
Officially unveil their 2004 Spring Season of plays and musicals.
Formally introduce new Associate Artistic Director Bo List
Welcome additions to Bailiwick’s Board of Directors
Induct new Bailiwick Artistic Associates
Celebrate recent artistic successes
Gear up for auditions for its New Musicals Festival, which includes the world premiere of 108 Waverly and the Chicago premiere of the international hit Moscow - hence our HOT MOSCOW NIGHTS!
HOT MOSCOW NIGHTS is, by no means a ceremony. It will be an informal evening of meeting and greeting, toasting and carousing, and getting together before the holiday season gets into full swing. Anyone is welcome – theatergoers, theatre artists, or anyone looking for a little warmth and welcome as Chicago prepares for its annual “cold war.”
HOT MOSCOW NIGHTS, a benefit evening, is only $15.00 and includes beer and food. The event will take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, November 16 at Will’s Northwoods Inn at 3032 Racine. For reservations, call Brannen Daugherty at 773-883-1090 x 17.
