This week I tried out some new food at Tribute, part of the Essex Inn on Michigan Avenue. The next day was Cirque Shanghai's new show at Navy Pier. I had seen it last time but this was entitled Extreme and it was. From the motor bike racing inside a metal ball to motorcycles on wires over the crowd this was a big change from last time. While the show was a little on the short side, overall a good one for kids and family members of all ages.

Pink Friday was a long day. It started off with an interview with Dane who plays the Beast in the current tour of Broadway's Beauty & the Beast. Then I headed to Hamburger Mary's for lunch with my editor. I got to the United Center early for the Britney Spears experience. Having interviewed Jessie the opener it was fun to see her live, then Nicki Minaj blew me away with her set that had "dungeon dragon" stuck in my head all night.

Britney finally arrived and put on her Vegas style show. The gal and gay fans went crazy for her. She doesn't sing the whole show live but did not disappoint.
I zoomed downtown to interview Kathleen Robertson of 90210 fame who was filming a new Starz show called Boss with Kelsey Grammer.

It was fun hanging out with her in her trailer then watching the show being filmed. I had been an extra earlier in the filming at the Lincoln Park Zoo. To see things from a different angle helped me learn what the show is all about. They shoot all night so I had to leave early to do another interview this time at Roscoe's.

I met Jessie who was adorable and interviewed Grace V. She is up and coming being produced by Randy Jackson. This Russian spitfire brought me a gift bag, which was really sweet. I had a shot with her then took off.
Tonight it is the Exxxotica porn convention and backstage at the Folk & Roots festival. See ya there!
