Hello everyone,

I have some exciting news about Oprah's Big Give. Oprah and Nate Berkus surprised me LIVE on Monday's show with $10,000 cash and a challenge! I have to find a way to use the money to "give big" and I only have until Friday to make this happen!

I need your help!

I decided to raise money and awareness for Interfaith House ( www.interfaithhouse.org ). Interfaith House is a non-profit organization dedicated to permanently breaking the cycle of homelessness in Chicago. They provide housing, medical care, counseling, and employment training to their residents. They also supply the tools to help individuals rebuild their lives and rejoin society.

Your donation to Interfaith House will help supply the needed resources to increase the organization's capacity to serve more residents and other homeless individuals. Specifically, they are in desperate need of a passenger van to transport their residents and their outdated facilities require a great deal of repair. Interfaith House does so much for our community and now is time to show how Chicago can give back to them!
