The Foyer, 525 West Monroe Street, has plans to perk up the people in the West Loop or help them relax after a long workday. In between the company offers some tasty lunch possibilities as well.

The “all-day cafe” is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed both Saturdays and Sundays. This shows the place is geared towards employees working in the Downtown Chicago area who need a wake-up cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail to unwind in the evening.

The team behind Fairgrounds Craft Coffee & Tea has had success in the past in Illinois with locations sprouting up all over. The Foyer fits into a similar model with grab-and-go items in open-air fixtures supplying various products.

Start off your day by sipping on a latte and snacking on an apple fritter. For breakfast fare try the oatmeal or avocado toast, lunch has soups or salads and dinner displays several hearty dishes such as the juicy meatball sandwich. The flatbreads have just the right bite with a crunchy, light crust and fresh toppings.

Bar food begins at 3 p.m. and runs until closing time with a menu including a seasonal charcuterie tray and grilled steak sliders made spicy thanks to the hot giardiniera relish on top. The Foyer specialty cocktail is perfect for summer made with Italian aperitif Aperol, lime and sparkling wine. Local beer makers Lagunitas supply the wheat ale and several of the wines stick to the Italian theme of this establishment.

The outdoor patio just adds space to the place and creates a relaxing environment when the weather is mild.

There's a lot of potential in this upbeat and upscale establishment, so visit TheFoyerCafe.com to plan your big entrance into The Foyer today!
