Shake Shack sprinkles on a rainbow for PFLAG

The restaurant chain Shake Shack has cooked up a promotion to give back to the LGBTQ+ community. The organization will donate fifty cents to PFLAG every time anyone adds rainbow sprinkles to the Shack's shake in June. PFLAG National supports and protects friends, family and allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

Starting from a hot dog cart in 2001, Shake Shack has grown in leaps and bounds thanks to a strong business model and a well-rounded menu.

One of the locations has found a perfect home at 864 East Townline Road in Vernon Hills, Illinois in the heart of an upscale shopping district. Complete with a shaded patio and open kitchen concept, this casual dining restaurant has a lot to offer.

Start off with one of the house-made naturally caffeinated drinks made with real cane sugar. There are three new fruity flavors for a limited time so try strawberry lemonade, mango passionade or dragonfruit mixed in before it's too late.

Bite into the new Veggie Shack that comes with American cheese, crispy onions, pickles and ShackSauce on top. Customers can make it a double and add on avocado or bacon if desired.

Pair one of the burgers with spicy cheese fries. The side of the ranch offsets the spicy pepper sprinkled on top with a unique fresh taste.

For dessert go with the Oreo Funnel Cake Shake or Triple Chocolate Brownie Shake and don't forget to add the rainbow topping to support PFLAG which is now celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2023. There's much more to explore and the helpful staff will help a diner out if suggestions are needed.
