"A man not yet positively identified drowned July 16 at the Belmont Rocks, a popular gay sunning area on the lakefront between Belmont Avenue and Diversey Parkway.
"The 25-35-year-old black man was wearing only swim trunks, according to 23rd(Town Hall) district police. A spokesperson for the Cook County medical examiner's office said a friend of the victim came in with a name but no address and few other details. Police are trying to locate family members to make a positive identification."
