The cognac known as Hennessy is based out of France but Chicago continues to be a big supporter of the product. Hennessy VSOP Privilege kicked off a patio party with Parisian manhattan's containing Hennessy, Cocchi rosa, and Orinoco bitters at The Dawson at the six corners of Halsted Street, Grand, and Milwaukee Avenue.

Check out this octopus pitcher that nearly swam away with my memory. Inside was a mix of rum, white port, local fruit, and bitters.

There was also a specialty drink called Channel Surfing with Hennessy Privilege, Byrhh quinquina, rasberry, lime and bitters

Luckily there was something for my stomach with a snack from The Dawson of sesame shishito peppers and chicken fried lobster with spicy ranch dressing. The combination has spice and spirits in splashdown explosion in the mouth!
