The Rodde Center, the Lesbian and Gay Community Center of Chicago announces the appointment of three new members to its governing board of directors: Dale Muehler, who is the co-chair of the Illinois delegation for Stonewall 25, Richard Bluestein, a founding member of Generation Q, and Donald Dunfree, current co-chair of Men of All Colors Together/Chicago.

Representatives of Chicago Anti-Bashing Network (CABN), Sangat and other gay individuals, attend a rally in support of a prominent Muslim community leader in Ann Arbor, Mich., Rabih Haddad, who was detained without charges and transferred from Michigan to the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago. CABN claim this is a witch-hunt against Arabs and Muslims.
