Are you getting ready to show your Pride this weekend?  There are so many hot fun events to get your ready for the Parade on Sunday that you'd better take a bunch of naps so you can enjoy everything.  Get out there, have some fun and enjoy Pride.

THURSDAY, JUNE 24

Head downtown to Room & Board tonight when Chicago House presents the 13th Annual Birdhouse: Unleashed Art Auction and cocktail party.  You'll have the chance to bid on birdhouses designed and created by almost 50 different artists.  Tix are $65 in advance/$75 at the door, and all proceeds benefit ChicagoHouse.

Jujubee, from RuPaul's 2nd Season of Drag Race will be partying tonight at Berlin Nightclub when Stardust and Ratcatchers present CULT.  Party the night away with music by DJ Teen Witch, DJ Baby Bamboo and more.  The fun starts at 10PM and tix can be purchased online for $10.  Start your Pride Weekend off tonight!

The Glenwood in Rogers Park will be unveiling art work created by Joann Bates and Dr. Rev Kitt Miller tonight.  Hang around for the artists reception and enjoy lite refreshments from 6-8PM.  Check the site for more details.

Ronnie Kroell and Miss Foozie play hostess this evening for ChicagoPride.com's 8th Anniversary Party.  Celebrate 8 fabulous years at Roscoe's from 7-9PM with great prizes and who knows all what!  I'll be there so I loook forward to seeing you there!

FRIDAY, JUNE 25

If you're looking for some new underwear then head to Hydrate tonight for the Andrew Christian Underwear Fashion Show.  Andrew Christian is known for making some exciting and hot underwear, so instead of just looking at it in a catalog - get an up close and hands on (ok, maybe not hands on) look at some of the hottest new trends in men's underwear.  The show starts at 10PM but get there early for a seat up front.

To kick off your Pride weekend head to the Center on Halsted as the COH Associate Board Presents Pride Celebration 2010 on the Rooftop garden from 5:30-9PM.  Tix are $20 and includes 3 drink tickets plus light snacks - hurry because tix won't be on sale at the door.  Start your weekend off right!

Can you believe that this is the 30th Anniversary of the Taste of Chicago?  The taste event of the summer starts today and runs through July 4th.  There's lots of free concerts scheduled including Salt-n-Peppa and Bell Biv Devoe tonight.  Check the site for a full list of concerts and events.

Grab your pillow and head to Millennium Park this morning at 10AM for a pillow fight.  Yes you read that right, a pillow fight!  Be part of a flash mob and pretend you're a teenager again.  You'll need to wear a red or blue t-shirt, check the site for details, but bring a pillow, bring a friend and get ready to have a lot of fun...shhh, don't tell anyone, it's a surprise.

For the second year in a row the Chicago Dyke March will take place on the southside of the city.  Start at the Shore Bank (7054 S Jeffery Blvd) at 2:30 and march, ride, walk and show your Dyke Pride all the way to Jackson Park where there'll be a rally at 4PM, live music, performances, dj's and more.

Head to Hollywood Beach tonight, yes I said tonight, for a special lakeside screening of Victor/Victoria thanks to "Movies in the Park" from the Chicago Park District.  Tonights movie will start at dusk (around 8:45) but get there early to enjoy the fun of sitting on the beach and watching a movie.  More movies are scheduled throughout the summer at local parks, use this handy tool so you don't miss any of them.

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

Is there anything else going on today besides the 41st Annual Chicago Gay Pride Parade?  Even if there is, that's really the only thing going on today.  Remember, the whole parade route is barricaded again this year, so get there early to find the best spot...and make sure you're on the right side of the barricade.  I'll be marching with the Chicago Spirit Brigade so look for me and I'll look for you.  HAPPY PRIDE!!!
