FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

Taking a page from the Guerilla Gay Bar South Loop that has taken off this summer, the girls are getting in on the action and hosting Guerilla Girl Bar.  Sapphic Adventures is planning on "taking over" Pops for Champagne at 601 N State Street from 6-10PM.  Check the site for full details.

Congress of Starlings (9:30); The Dylan Rice Band (10:30) and Bobby Conn and Monica Boubou (11:30) will take over the stage at Jackhammer for this months edition of The Flesh Hungry Dog Show.  Tickets are $10 at the door/$8 online.

Jason and deMarco, stars of the Showtime documentary, "We're All Angels" will perform at Connect: An LGBT Spirtual Experience tonight from 7-10PM.  Jason and deMarco, a gay couple, are hottie pop stars who happen to sing Christian rock. 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

TPAN hosts their annual gala "Ultra Lounge" this evening at Ravenswood Bilboard Factory, tickets start at $150 and include Dinner, a silent auction and a concert by Kristine W.  VIP tickets are available for $250.  If you haven't heard of Kristine W check out this amazing interview the Feast of Fun recently posted.



To celebrate Whitney Houston's comeback, head on over to the Kit Kat Lounge where the Divas will pay homage to THE Diva.  Grab a Crack is Whack martini and enjoy a night of videos, music and impersonations.

Cinematic Titanic takes over the Lakeshore Theater tonight at 7:30 and 10:30  Who's Cinematic Titanic? They're the folks behind Mystery Science Theater 3000. Danger on Tiki Island will be shown tonight, but you can also catch The Alien Factor on Friday Night and East Meets Watts on Thursday.  Tix are $39.50 and can be purchased online.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

It may be after Labor Day, but that doesn'tmean you have to put your summer clothes away.  Grab your best sundress and head over to Scot's in Ravenswood this afternoon for Sundress Sunday Get there early to have a few drinks but the trolley sets off at 3PM for a bar crawl that will definitely put an exciting end to your summer.  Oh yeah, the trolley is free!



J. Courtney Sullivan will be at Women & Children First Books in Andersonville at Noon to read from her latest book, Commencement.

OUTwrite, the Center on Halsted LGBT literary program presents out gay author Dr. Don Martin who will be reading from his book "Road Map for Graduate Study" from 5-7PM.  Tix are $5 at the door.
