Gigli is a privately held company based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, that's on a mission to take Illinois by storm. The alcohol free brand is now sold at Binny's Beverage Depot in the state as part of its retail expansion.
Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the primary psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant and has an age requirement of 21 and above because it is hemp-derived.
Gigli's beverages are created from extracts of ashwagandha and ginseng with flavors ranging from Mango to Citrus. Their website offers several recipes to boost the experience, such as adding the seltzer to mint leaves to create a mojito.
Their bubbly canned drinks are served with 5 mg and 10 mg options, while remaining under 100 calories. The mixture's ingredients are both gluten-free and vegan for those with allergies.
The concoction can cause euphoria and combat bouts of nausea instead of causing sickness from alcohol, which irritates the stomach lining. Please be advised that Gigli products could produce a positive result on a drug test and drinking while driving is not recommended.
The legal status of cannabis in the United States continues to evolve and change each year.
Another THC brand, Artet brings a blend of botanicals and is based out of California. Their product packs a punch with the Mango Ginger Spritz flavor and each can contains 50 calories with 25 mg of THC.
Both Gigli and Artet were found to be easily drinkable with just the right amount of flavoring. Gigli proved to be lighter with bubbles and Artet had a longer finish. The companies are on the cutting edge of an industry that is ever-changing and with a firm reward to those who invest early.
Forget the Jennifer Lopez box office bomb in 2003; this Gigli is the one to watch. Get a case of the giggles at getgigli.com.
