The sightseeing company Big Bus Tours Chicago is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, complete with discount prices for patrons. The company itself started over 30 years ago and has grown into 27 cities across four continents. This major amount of success comes from the smooth operation of knowledgeable guides and safe bus drivers.
In Chicago, the bus departs from 618 North Clark Street near the flagship location of McDonald's in the River North area. From the corner of Clark St. and Ontario St., the bus heads north to Lincoln Park and makes a loop around the city to return to the same spot.
Ascend the staircase to the top deck for an open-air bird's eye view of the dynamic sights of Chicago. There are indoor seat options as well and people can hop on/off possibilities. Download the app and for one hour and 45 minutes, riders are treated to a guided tour packed full of trivia about the Windy City. Guests can observe their surroundings with spectacular views from a unique perspective while learning about history.
Listeners can absorb fun facts about the stars in the Illinois state flag and nicknames for Chicago. Several of the 77 neighborhoods in the Chicago area are covered while driving through landmarks and attractions.
The Sunset Live Tour highlights classic architecture and popular museums, among other things. This can assist in acclimating a visitor to many of the important destinations found in a megacity that can feel overwhelming at first. Changing the routes and exploring new territories keep these informative tours fresh for returning riders.
Tours are available from now until October 8, 2025, and can be booked at bigbustours.com or bought onsite. Look for a variety of prices and flexible tickets for a free date change. “Get on the bus, Gus. You don't need to discuss much.”
