The Midwestern grocery store chain Mariano's knows how to throw a promotion. On June 15, 2022, the venue brought in local vendors for an exciting evening full of festivities. Shoppers had the opportunity to sample and explore offerings sold at the store level while enjoying a DJ spinning tunes in a welcoming atmosphere.
Tickets were $25 and included stops at stations throughout the 1500 Clyborn Avenue location for two hours.
Grillin' with Dad's Maciek brought his Big Green Egg to serve up shrimp and steak to patrons right on the spot. Dion's Chicago Dream was present for the celebration to encourage donations to those in need living in Chicago.
Bachelor in Paradise's Grocery Store Joe brought his Sundays with Joe Tomato Sauce for people to try at one station. Joe Amabile has over 10 years of restaurant experience and it shows with this delicious gourmet pasta sauce.
Other standouts at the party were Four Star Artisan sausages and delicious Duck Inn Dogs hot dogs.
While the event could have used more signage and earlier promotion, Mariano's continues to bring new experiences and celebrity guests to their various venues regularly. These events draw attention and make for innovative experiences that hungry shoppers can't ignore!
