Wonder Woman Fights for Our Rights This December

DC's Wonder Woman has had a loyal gay following ever since Lynda Carter dawned the tiara during the television show in 1975. Now with the sequel from the self-titled original film, Wonder Woman 1984 promises to bring some of that same nostalgia back. Having a female helmed project that was directed by Patty Jenkins with a strong, exotic actress named Gal Gadot taking up the red, white and blue costume proved fruitful for the movie property back in 2017.

The duo are trying to recreate that with this sequel that will finally be released on Dec. 25, 2020. Times have been tought for the heroine as a pandemic has pushed the release back until now. There are no plans to release the film in the Chicago area in theaters, but Warner Bros. has pivoted by streaming the movie on HBOMax on Christmas Day. For longtime fans, who are hoping to end their year with a bang, this could be the golden ticket!

Much of the supporting cast has returned and a few newcomers have been added to the mix with Kristen Wiig playing Cheetah and Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord. "The Future's So Bright" we have to wear shades and setting the story in 1984 might be just what the doctor ordered as a new era begins in part two of the cinema series.

Congrats to the winners of the recent Wonder Woman 1984 contest Victor Aragon, Chris de Vries, Elena Alvardo, Chad Byers and Caitlin Jackson!!!
