Having a Ball With Giordano's Legacy

Sat. March 16, 2019

By Jerry Nunn

Giordano Dance Chicago began in 1963 and still thrives today. The troupe has brought performances to audiences around the world and offers over 300 classes each year with its various programs.

The GDC's Legacy Ball returned in 2019 bigger than ever at the Ravenswood Event Center  on March 9. This was the second Legacy Ball for the company that has been around 56 years.

Liz and Matt Connelly were honored for their support and contributions that night. Food stations, open bars and a live auction with unique packages were all part of the fun.

The pop up dance performances and DJ Matthew Harvat provided entertainment for donors throughout the evening in a room full of sports cars and ecclectic decorations.

Giordano Dance Chicago presents its spring program at the Harris Theater in Millenium Park on March 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15-$75 and can be purchesed at 312-334-7777 or by visiting HarrisTheaterChicago.org.
