King Crab Rules

King Crab House Chicago has been serving up seafood for customers for over 30 years and the 1816 N Halsted location has one of the best specials in town.

A friendly bar will greet guests as the entire the intimate establishment. Start off with a mai tai created by owner Cy Sadaka or maybe try a margarita.

Once you have a couple of drinks under your belt, then enjoy the bar specials that include Chesapeake oysters for 65 cents each. There's also shrimp at 90 cents each or the mussel appetizer for $5.95.

If something other than seafood is what you crave then hamburgers are only two dollars. The buffalo wings can sell out being only 35 cents each so get there early.

The brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays has become very popular.

Try the crab cake benedict with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce or go more traditional with pancakes and eggs.

Reservations are suggested and can be made online at KingCrabChicago.com.

As far as entertainment, the Steppenwolf Theatre is nearby or visit the posh Arclight Cinema at 1500 North Clyborn. A movie like The Meg is a perfect pairing with your seafood night out.

The story of a shark like creature attacking a crew at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean has hit home with audiences making it a massive success.

The story is campy with any excuse to get people in the water as prehistoric shark bait, but Jason Statham and the gang have a lot of fun with the material.

No expense is spared and this feature continues to rake in the dough currently at number two in box office sales.

The Sanya Bay scene is not to missed so swim over to a theater and check it out today.
