Vinny's Pizza Bar located at 130 North Canal Street provides a casual dining experience for people heading over to the corner of Randolph and Canal St.
The specialty pizza is similar to a New York style that is made with signature, house made dough. There are unique things to taste like the brie and apple pizza or just the plain cheese will give you a good feel to what the kitchen offers.
The breadsticks can be sampled with a variety of sauces including garlic butter, goat cheese marinara and a Ketel One tomato sauce.
The cheesecake was excellent and the perfect way to end the experience.

Another bar that has lots to offer is Reid Bar at the street level in River Roast at 315 North LaSalle.
The craft cocktails are a great way to start and the knowledgeable bar staff will guide you in the right direction. While a coffee shop during the day the space turns into more a speakeasy vibe at night.
The burrata is a must try item with cherries, basil, lemon confit, and balsamic essenza. The shrimp and crab toast is excellent or try the wild mushroom toast if you prefer no meat.
After a hard day's work stop in for a prime rib sandwich and wash it down with the daily punch, a combination of spirtis and fresh juices.
