The Wild Pug New Years Eve
The Wild Pug is always a place for drinking and debauchery, but this New Year’s Eve the dog friendly, Uptown pub shows its softer side by donating a portion of the night’s ticket sales to the Northern Illinois Pug Rescue and Adoption Foundation (NIPRA). The NIPRA is a local non-profit dedicated to the rescue, care and adoption of pugs that have been abandoned or mistreated and need a good home. Tickets to the New Year’s bash are limited and on sale in advance for $10, but they may also be purchased the night of the party at the door for $15. The New Year’s Eve party starts at 8PM and will feature party favors, a balloon drop, and complimentary coat check, champagne toast at midnight, and a special visit by “Shot-zee” Baby New Year. Two of the Pug’s resident DJs will be on hand during the party to entertain the crowd. DJ Bobby Marley will start the night off with an eclectic mix of pop hits and classics. DJ Oscar takes over at 11PM with music to get the party-goers dancing. Start 2009 off right by giving back to a local organization that does great work for the community! This is a Make A Difference Partner Event
