In this sharply comedic feature debut from writer-director McKenzie Goodwin, co-host of the wildly popular podcast Two Dykes and a Mic, Lily, an aspiring actress, has planned the perfect weekend to propose to her comedian girlfriend, Jordan. But when Lily’s biological mother, infamous TV star Marsha Davis (Elaine Hendrix, THE PARENT TRAP, DANCING WITH THE STARS), unexpectedly shows up at her front door, all plans fly out the window. Catalyzed by Marsha’s arrival, Jordan’s entitled nature is unashamedly revealed and, what should have been a romantic getaway, spirals into comic chaos. Marsha’s narcissism collides with Jordan’s relentless quest for fame and fortune, creating a boiling pot that is just waiting to overflow and leaving Lily to determine where her loyalties lie.
