Monday, September 21, 2026, 6:45 PM - 8:30 PM | view details and directions
A collection of shorts dedicated to queer voices, queer life, and queer love—who we are and how we show up. In PARTNERS (dir. Sophie Barnes; U.S.), when engaged couple Faye and Peter reunite with old friends one hot Southern night, secrets are uncovered and the status quo of their straight relationship is thrown into question. Charlie and Mere navigate co-parenting their dog, Archie, after their relationship falls apart in HOW’S ARCHIE? (dir. Jessie Posthumus; Canada). LATE BLOOMER (dir. Kyle Anne Grendys; U.S.) follows 30-year-old Harper Muller after cervical cancer turns her life plans upside-down, and she recruits her two best friends to sleep with her so she can finally lose her virginity. DREAM HOMES (dir. Michael J Bullock, Michael Cukr; U.S.) looks at queer communal living as a way of making a home outside inherited or conventional models, documenting three contemporary LGBTQ+ communal households in the United States—House of GG (Arkansas), Lupinewood (Massachusetts), and Ten of Cups Farm (Washington). Last but not least, LOUDER (dir. Patrick Letterii; Germany) follows Helena, a Berlin-based trans writer, as she prepares to travel to New York City for a work opportunity, and juggles her anxiety about the trip with unresolved relationships at home. Iona Bodem will moderate an exclusive conversation with director, producer, and screenwriter Sophie Barnes of Partners.
