At an artists’ retreat, insecure cartoonist Al (EJ Marcus) seeks creative confidence, but his world shifts when a fellow queer artist, Mason Cash (Generation’s Sydney Mae Diaz), begins flirting with his best friend Jesse, forcing Al to confront hidden feelings and fears about his art and identity. Director Andy Fidoten’s sweet-natured trans rom-com, produced by trans icon Lilly Wachowski, creatively blends live action and animation in a unique style that will leave you smiling. Join us after the film for a special conversation with our Narratives Programmer, Tatum Yancey and Director Andy Fidoten and one of the film leads, Sydney Mae Diaz Co-Presented by Brave Space Alliance
