In Chicago director Jack C. Newell’s latest feature, roommates and lifelong friends Kara and Oly have been making their way in New York City in the same shared business: robbing the homes of the recently deceased under the guise of “cleaning.” But when a death in the family erases all possibility of going the straight-and-narrow, the pair has no choice but to embark on their most daring score yet: impersonating the heir of a large estate who hasn’t been seen by his family in 15 years. However, they aren’t the only ones who have their eyes on the will. Enter a conniving lawyer, a drunkard aunt, and a naive author, who make for a much messier, and funnier, situation than expected.
