Market Days: Weekend Run Club

Comprised of four nerds and one other nerd, who is also a doctor, The Weekend Run Club takes the NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer Stage at Halsted & Addison on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m.

Right before venues across the country shuttered, The Weekend Run Club played a sold-out show at the Beat Kitchen in their hometown of Chicago.

With delirious guitar solos tearing the ceiling off alt-rock structures shocked by danceable rhythms, the Weekend Run Club combines the endurance of dance floor anthems with the identity crises that follow a night on the town—or a quiet night in.

The 41st annual Northalsted Market Days, which is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance, runs Saturday, Aug. 12 and Sunday Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. along N. Halsted St. from Addison St. south to Belmont Ave.

A $20 suggested donation is recommended. Donations support local nonprofits and fund community projects like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks. A $50 VIP Pass with express entry is available for purchase at northalsted.com.
