Lonesome

Casey (newcomer Josh Lavery), a brooding young man from the Outback running from the aftermath of a small town scandal after his affair with a married man was revealed, arrives in the big smoke of Sydney with little more than his cowboy hat and a change of clothes. But this Midnight Cowboy is a survivor who has a way with sex apps and has joined a three-way within hours after his arrival. In the aftermath, Tib (Daniel Gabriel) invites him to stay. Both young men, struggling with the scars of isolation, find that they share a sexual and emotional chemistry. But when Casey finds himself drawn in closer than Tib can handle, trouble rears its ugly head, threatening a permanent end to their temporary paradise. Soon, Casey finds himself drawn into sex work while pining for the connection he once felt for Tib. With immense artistic skill, director Craig Boreham invests this sexually explicit drama with genuine, heartfelt emotion.
