When Time Got Louder

A moving, multi-faceted performance from Willow Shields (THE HUNGER GAMES) is at the heart of this lovely debut drama feature from writer-director Connie Cocchia. Abbie is one step closer to her dream of becoming a full-time animator after receiving a full scholarship from a renowned school in California. She departs for college, leaving behind her parents Mark (Lochlyn Munro, RIVERDALE) and Tish (Elizabeth Mitchell, LOST), and her brother Kayden (Jonathan Simao), who has autism and is non-verbal. As Abbie explores her newfound independence, she also begins a life-changing romance with the enticing Karly (Ava Capri, LOVE, VICTOR) who she meets at a party. Abbie is torn between her new life, new love, and the guilt of leaving her brother behind. Her parents struggle to care for Kayden with the same unfettered devotion and insight that Abbie did, but in her absence things quickly spin out of control. Audiences who embraced last year’s Oscar-winning film CODA will be similarly inspired by this powerful film.
