This hilarious variation on FREAKY FRIDAY tells the story of a 9-year-old boy trapped in a woman’s body. Johnny adores his babysitter Melanie, who never judges him when he wants to put on lipstick and try on his mom’s dresses. So he’s heartbroken that today is her last day before she becomes a full-time doula. Johnny finds a solution when he discovers a YouTube video that teaches him how to send his spirit into Melanie’s body. It’s all fun and games as he plays dress-up and uses Melanie’s credit card to buy an obscene amount of candy (among other childish pursuits), but soon the pressures of pretending to be someone else stack up faster than Johnny can reapply Melanie’s lipstick. Sharon and Priya, Melanie’s new doula clients, are frantically calling as their baby is coming — and stat! Johnny doesn’t know how to get out of Melanie’s body and ends up having no choice but to help with the home birth in this tender, delightful comedy of errors that will leave you helpless with laughter.
