Lakeside Pride's Second Annual "Take the Stage Gala"

Lakeside Pride hosts its second annual Take the Stage gala to celebrate the contributions of individuals, businesses, and other organizations to the LGBTQ music community in Chicago. This event will also be a significant fundraiser for Lakeside Pride, with all support going direct to fulfilling our important mission of fostering acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQ community through the universal language of music. Join us for beautiful views of the city on the Jay Pritzker Pavilion stage with glass doors closed creating a climate-controlled environment. Enjoy a complimentary open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, and food stations while our ensembles set the mood. Take the Stage provides an opportunity to reflect upon past accomplishments while looking forward to continuing to represent our community and express ourselves through music. Suggested attire is a dress, suit, or slacks and blazer; cocktail attire to formal. About Lakeside Pride Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles is Chicago’s premier family of performance groups for members and friends of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community. Home to three major ensembles – Jazz Orchestra, Marching Band, and Symphonic Band – plus over a dozen chamber ensembles, the organization offers a diverse musical experience for both its audience and members.
