Artemis Singers “We Sing What Sparkles” Pride Concert/Dance
Artemis Singers, Chicago's Lesbian Feminist Chorus, celebrates Pride with an evening of song, poetry and dance. "We Sing What Sparkles" songs include Fishing with the Lesbians, Seven Day Kiss, Rise up and the world premiere of Lesbian Feminist Boogie. Hear the foot-stomping What Happens When a Woman by Chicago-based vocal trio Artemisia. Black activist poet e nina jay reads from her new book Bricks, Blood & Water.
