Charlie is an adorably awkward 20-year-old freshman attending college in New York City. Charlie isn’t just a romantic fool–he’s a movie crazed romantic fool whose idea of true love comes directly from the classic films he lives for. Charlie might want to have breakfast at Tiffany’s with the man of his dreams but reality keeps intruding on his cinematic dreams and Charlie’s quest for his own Hollywood Happily-Ever-After seems further away with every miscast brief encounter. Christopher Schaap, who also wrote and directed, stars as the wide-eyed Charlie, imbuing the character with an irresistible sweetness and vulnerability.
