Giordano Dance Chicago Fall Harris Engagement
Giordano Dance Chicago (GDC), America’s original jazz dance company, debuts “Divided Against,” an exciting new full company work by choreographer Peter Chu (“So You Think You Can Dance”) when the company presents their fall engagement at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance Friday. In addition to Chu’s new work, the program for GDC’s Oct. 28-29 concerts will include three revivals plus two favorites from GDC’s acclaimed repertoire: Jon Lehrer’s “Cesura” (2000) [Revival]; Sam Watson’s “Hi Jinks” (1998) [Revival]; “Yes, And…” (2010) by Autumn Eckman [Revival]; “Shirt Off My Back” (2015) and Kiesha Lalama’s “Alegría” (2011).
