From charming narratives to experimental musical shorts, these films are jam packed with stories from the queer, trans, and gender nonconforming communities; from dealing with everyday dysphoria to coming home for Thanksgiving for the first time after transitioning. In HARD PACK, a young trans guy (played by model/musician Madison Paige) takes too much testosterone and experiences the rush of consequences; a queer Vietnamese American teen attempts to piece together and understand their mom’s experience as a Vietnam War refugee in NUOC; and a young Israeli transgender man reconnects with his childhood friend for the first time since his transition in THE FRIEND FROM TEL AVIV.
