Tellin' Tales Theatre presents "Classroom Drama"

Teacher/performers from Tellin’ Tales Theatre test their limits in Classroom Drama, running for two weekends July 22 through July 31, at Prop Thtr. Three solo performers with and without disabilities— Beth Ann Bryant-Richards, Tekki Lomnicki and Lily Be—share their hilarious stories straight from the smoky Teacher’s Lounge of their minds. Each night they will be joined by a different Substitute Teacher from Chicago’s thriving Live Lit community ranging from an instructor in a women’s prison to a Catholic elementary school teacher who imparts life lessons through Beatles songs. The Opening night performance/fundraiser on Friday, July 22 for $40 includes an After Party on stage with the cast and crew. All other tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students.
