Scene Soirée: Summer in the City

Join Goodman Theatre’s Scenemakers Board as they show their love for all things Chicago by celebrating the best of Chicago’s’ diverse neighborhoods! Tickets are $85 through June! ($95 after June 30) Dress code is summer cocktail attire. Watch performances by YouTube beat-boxing sensation Yuri Lane, hit the dance floor, sample local craft beer and nosh on Chicago-inspired foods as you bid on exclusive auction experiences highlighting some of the city’s most unique areas. One lucky guest will go home with an original painting by Elliot From, who will bring a one-of-a-kind piece to life during the Soirée. The Scene Soirée supports Goodman’s PlayBuild Youth Intensive, a six-week summer program designed to foster critical thinking, literacy and storytelling skills in 14 to 18-year olds.
