The Northalsted Business Alliance, in collaboration with The Legacy Project, is proud to announce Pride Prom: A Chance to Rewrite History. #REWRITEPROM For many Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people, Prom was not the most welcoming experience for people to express their gender identity or sexual orientation. Northalsted, a neighborhood founded on inclusion, welcomes couples from across the LGBTQ spectrum and allies for an unforgettable evening as we acknowledge our history and pave the way for the future at your favorite pastime high school dance. On Saturday, May 21st, Northalsted Business Alliance invites you to bring your truly special someone to Prom, once and for all. Held in large, outdoor tent at Halsted and Newport, be treated to an evening of entertainment, prizes, companionship and of course, dancing. In partnership with The Legacy Project, Pride Prom focuses on bridging the generation gap, as an event to be cherished by all ages. The Legacy Project is committed to recognizing and celebrating the many contributions LGBTQ people have made to world history and culture. Partnering with The Legacy Project, The Northalsted Business Alliance endeavors to educate, promote, and foster a positive community throughout boystown. 21+, 7-10pm Complimentary Beer & Wine Music by Moosebox + DJ Moose & Voxbox
