Love Me Anyway

A sun soaked drama about Danny, a lonely gay filmmaker who leaves a San Francisco film festival early to visit his recently estranged brother Eddie and sister-in-law Esme in Los Angeles. Upon arriving, he reconciles with his brother over their parent’s divorce while learning that Eddie and Esme’s marriage itself is now in shambles. Danny is distracted from his family drama by Eddie’s best friend Devon, a blonde surfer dude and aspiring actor with an ambiguous sexual orientation. Meanwhile, Esme goes deeper into her extramarital affair with another woman. Eddie quietly tries to save his marriage while everyone else tries to see how much greener the grass actually is. A provocative relationship drama with great performances from indie director Ryan Andrew Balas.
