Chicago Pride Fest

Hosted by the Northalsted Business Alliance, this huge annual celebration of community pride is home to an eclectic mix of arts and crafts, food and other vendors. It also features the best pop and dance entertainment of the summer on two stages, one of which is dedicated to some of Chicago's best performers in the gay community. Update: DJ Micky Friedmann Added to Pride Fest Line-Up DJ Micky Friedmann brings his beats all the way from Berlin with a Saturday night set for Pride Fest at 9pm at the North Stage. Friedmann is one of the leading progressive, tribal, electro, vocal and tech house DJ's in the international scene. A huge LED wall will bask the Fest in a new light and set the scene for an epic dance party event. The Veronicas, originally slated for this slot, were forced to cancel their U.S. tour due to last minute travel visa issues.
