Lake is an unusual, artistic boy who realizes after taking a job in a nursing home that he has a sexual predilection for the elderly. He forms a romantic attachment to Mr. Peabody, a charming (if grumpy) gay man who regales him with stories of his wild youth. Though he has a girlfriend his own age, Desiree, Lake realizes his desire for the elderly cannot be ignored any longer, and in a thrilling THELMA AND LOUSE-meets-HAROLD AND MAUDE escape, he breaks Mr. Peabody out of the home. Embarking on a road trip, Lake takes Mr. Peabody to see the ocean one last time, but plans are thwarted before they reach the coast.
