Marina Rice Bader (US, 2014, 86 min) This film-within-a-film depicts the messiest of relationships: Zoe and Mal fell in love with each other while filming a love scene six months ago, but have since broken up. Now they have to re-shoot the love scene for a broadcast deal, and things could not be tenser on the movie set. Writer/director Marina Rice Bader (producer of ELENA UNDONE) brings us a lush, cinematic depiction of just how raw and messy true love can be. Zoe and Mal obviously still have feelings for each other, but can they set aside their emotional baggage and fears and admit that, with an entire crew watching?
