Skin cancer, the most common of all cancers, affects everyone and all skin types. The best way to detect skin cancer in its earliest and most treatable stage is by checking your skin regularly and having your skin examined thoroughly by a dermatologist. The Northwestern Medical Group Department of Dermatology, in conjunction with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) will be hosting their annual Free Skin Cancer Screening Event, on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 676 North St. Clair, Suite 1600 (16th floor) Arkes Pavilion from 8:00 am-11:40 am. The event is in part of an ongoing effort to increase awareness and preventative measures for skin health. Dermatologists will check participant’s exposed skin, in a private clinic room. Participants will be seen by appointment only. No walk-ins allowed.
