The 33rd Annual Proud To Run is a 10K run and 5K run and walk that celebrates LGBTQI&A pride. The 10K and 5K races take place along Chicago's lakefront. In 2013 the annual run had a record turnout of more than 1,600 registrants. Overall, more than 2,200 people participated in last year’s event by running, walking, volunteering and sponsoring. This years PTR benefits About Face Theatre, Test Positive Aware Network and The Night Ministry. PTR is presented in association with Frontrunner/Frontwalkers Chicago, the area's LGBTQI&A running and walking club. Fees: $40.00 before June 24, 2014; $45.00 onsite registration, June 28, 2014 CARA members receive a $2.00 discount on entry fee (online registration only) Fees include technical t-shirt and race bib. Please arrive early enough to complete packet pick up or registration and gear check by 7:45am. Race teams can sign up on the day of the race.
